Elizabeth Michaud is an award-winning poet and author, the mother of three adult children, and a French teacher currently living in GA. Originally from TX, Elizabeth has been writing since she was a teenager. Her first book, Five Dreams, released in August 2023, has received several awards, including First Place for Best Contemporary Poetry in The BookFest Awards (Spring 2024) and Winner in the Regal Summit Book Awards (Spring 2024), among others. Her second book of poetry, The Bones in the Garden (and other things found there), released in September 2024, launched to rave reviews. Her newest collection received top recognition in the 2024 American Writing Awards for Poetry by winning the category, as well as other recognitions from both The BookFest Awards (First Place, Fall 2024) and the American Best Book Awards (Finalist, Fall 2024).

When she is not working or writing, she can be found enjoying the company of her children and family, reading, watching TV, playing word games, and hosting the occasional game night with friends and family.
